Suns with two strong wins against top contenders in the Eastern Conference, showing the strength of the West is unmatched.

The Phoenix Suns were coming off of a strong home win against the top in the East, Detroit Pistons. Riding the momentum the Suns face another top East contender in the Cleveland Cavaliers at home.

We have discussed the injuries all year with the Phoenix Suns as it has become a rarity to see the starting five all together in a single game this year.

Phoenix will play its third straight game with star veteran Devin Booker.

Story of the night when it comes to injuries for the Suns, was the return of Jalen Green to the Court.

The Bookless Suns came together yet and again on offense and were led by hopeful all-star Dillon Brooks.

At the half Cleveland only trailed 52-47, but a surge in the third quarter from the Suns would find them falling behind even further.

Brooks led Phoenix with 27 points on 9 of 14 shooting. Dillon Brooks propelled the Suns to outscore the Cavs 45-32 in the third quarter.

Having Colin Gillespie back in the lineup was also key to a strong offensive showing for the Suns.

Gillespie with his catch-and-shoot capabilities was able to put up 16 points for Phoenix, supporting Brooks from beyond the arc.

Although Green was returning to the lineup, he was limited to minimal minutes due to not wanting to aggravate the hamstring again.

In just 15 minutes of play, Green was able to contribute 11 points.

From deep the Suns were on fire.

Phoenix shot 48-percent from three-point land going 23 of 48 and making stopping them almost impossible for the Cavs.

The second half belonged all to the Suns. Cleveland committed 15 turnovers and just overall looked sloppy trying to claw back.

Phoenix won the second straight statement game in a row ending the Cavaliers longest winning streak of the season of five games.

The Suns won the game 126-113 final.
