Suns Rally in Philly: Behind Booker and Big Third Quarter cover image

The Phoenix Suns were able to hold off the 76ers, winning third straight road game.

Ever since coming back from a sprained ankle injury, Devin Booker has been nothing but a leader and reliable in times of need for the Phoenix Suns. He was just that on this night in Philly. Momentum swung in multiple bursts throughout the game. The 76ers showed they are resilient and the Suns showed they are a force to be respected in the Western Conference.

Coach Ott had the Suns ready to face the challenges ahead as they were on a long road trip.

With Booker anchoring the Suns with 27 points yet again to lead all scorers, Phoenix players were nothing but motivated by their leader.

It was a big night for the Phoenix roster as they were also celebrating the return of Jalen Green.

The Suns had not had all their starters play in a single game this season. The return of Green was one all eyes would be on.

Jalen Green did come off the bench in this matchup; coach Ott wants to make this return a slow one.

Coming off the bench Green was able to contribute 12 points, bringing the attention of a Philadelphia defense out to the perimeter when Green was on the court.

The 76ers did come out of the half with a 13-2 run and one would think that Philly was going to take over the second half, this was not the case.

Phoenix responded by hitting multiple triples to flip the momentum.

By the end of the third quarter the Suns had built a 97-84 lead and would never look back.

Phoenix shot 41-percent from three-point land, showing off the sharpshooters they have on the roster.

The Nets were never able to claw back into this game and lost at home 116-110 to the Phoenix Suns.
