From a 70-point explosion in Boston to silencing crowds in Indiana, the five-time All-Star trails only Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain for scoring records across NBA arenas.
Devin Booker is nothing short of one of the very best players of this generation of the NBA. The Phoenix Suns superstar is entering his 12th season, which is coming into frame with high hopes.
While some are choosing to overlook Booker's progression as a player, there are numbers and trends that are present to remind fans across the league that the Kentucky product is still among the elite.
Among these stats is that the five-time All-Star and elite shooting guard holds the single-game scoring record at four different arenas. Take a look at these iconic performances below.
March 24, 2017 - 70 points at TD Garden (Boston Celtics)
Booker becomes the youngest player in NBA history to score 70 points in a single game.
The 20-year-old went into the game with a bare bones starting lineup in aid of him, and put together a massive second half that left the Boston home crowd cheering for him by the end of the game.
March 25, 2019 - 59 points at Delta Center (Utah Jazz)
This was the closing stretch of Booker being the centerpiece of a non-competitive team.
The contest also proved to be controversial, as teammate Jimmer Fredette arguably cost Booker the chance to score 60 points with multiple unnecessary shot attempts as of late.
January 26, 2024 - 62 points at Gainbridge Fieldhouse (Indiana Pacers)
Booker put together a historic showing in a back-and-forth game in Indiana in the first full season playing alongside superstar teammate Kevin Durant.
The 6'5" shooting guard nailed six three point shots, played all-around defense, and simply catalyzed a Phoenix offense that needed his scoring.
While Phoenix lost this game, this is one of the most glaring recent examples of the 29-year-old being one of the greatest scorers of this generations.
December 17, 2022 - 58 points at Mortgage Matchup Center (Suns)
Booker's historic domination of the New Orleans Pelicans extended into this game.
Booker led a massive comeback that resulted in a 118-114 Phoenix victory. His 58 points could have been an even higher total - had he connected on more than 10 out of 15 free throws.
Still, this set the stage for a historic playoff run that followed just months later.
For context to display how great Booker is as a scorer, only Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain hold the scoring record at more arenas than he does.
