Even with multiple roster changes, the Suns come out on top in Minnesota.

Phoenix Suns are on a four-game road trip. Winning in Los Angeles but immediately losing in Houston, now on the third road trip game going into Minnesota and coming out with a hard fought 108-105 victory.

A very tight contested Western Conference battle at the Target Center. The victory for the Phoenix Suns ended a five-game winning streak for the Minnesota Timberwolves. Phoenix continues to prove their ability to be resilient on the road.

From the opening tip this matchup featured a mixture of offensive firepower and defensive grit. The Timberwolves All-Star Anthony Edwards was electric throughout the game. Edwards had 40 points, creating his own shots and refusing to allow his team to be out of the game.

Center Mark Williams was the standout player for the Suns, having 22 points and seven rebounds as he dominated the paint.

The return of Grayson Allen is great for the Suns, but Colin Gillespie has made an argument for the position. Gillespie had 19 points giving Phoenix great looks from outside the paint.

Obviously, you cannot have a Phoenix Suns basketball game and not have Dillon Brooks presence go unmentioned. Brooks had 18 points as well, making defensive decision making very difficult in this matchup.

The Phoenix Suns are proving to be a team of not superstars but a very well-balanced offensive attack. In multiple games this season the Suns have had almost every player on the team show up on the scoreboard.

Through all four quarters this was competitive, not one team dominated over the other. In the fourth quarter, both teams traded the lead multiple times.

Ultimately it came down to the Phoenix Suns poise under pressure and clutch playmaking. During the final minutes Gillespie and Willams came up with crucial baskets to put away the game. When it mattered most the Phoenix defense stepped up and shut down Minnesota and closed out the win.
