Can the Suns clean up the mess and get back on track?

Monday night's game against the Houston Rockets is the second of the back-to-back home games for Phoenix. Center Mark Williams is ruled out with slight knee pain as well as Rockets star Kevin Durant, will both miss this matchup.

Phoenix has won eight of their last nine games coming into Monday night's game with Houston. Seeing how the Suns depth is able to handle a fast passed, great shooting team after playing in a hard game the night before, is what we will be looking for.

The Suns came out swinging and ready to play. Phoenix took a quick lead in the beginning of the first quarter, but that did not last long as the Houston Rockets soon found their rhythm.

Houston kept the lead at seven points for most the half. Phoenix small lineup was getting dominated on the boards, the low field goal percentage from the Suns were unable to keep up with the Rockets.

Ultimately when Houston got the lead early in the game, they never looked back. Imposing their will in every way of the game.

The Houston Rockets maintained control for the entirety of the game. Phoenix attempted multiple lineups, going from some smaller to some bigger and nothing was slowing the Rockets down.

One player that was responsible for the dominant performance was new up and coming star for the Houston Rockets. Amen Thompson put up 28 points, 8 assists, and 7 seven rebounds in the absence of Kevin Durant.

Thompson got some help from off the Rockets bench as well. Aaron Holliday made six three-pointers, giving him 22 points in the game.

Phoenix had very sloppy ball movement and seemed like no communication, or tons of miscommunication. This caused a season high of 20 total turnovers for the Suns.

A Phoenix Suns team that was been the standard for team play had just 11 assists all game.

Houston came on the road to Phoenix and walked away with a 114-92 victory to end the Suns home winning streak.
