From Olympic gold-medal versatility to historic scoring milestones, the Suns guard proves his elite scalability as he enters a pivotal decade cementing his legacy among NBA greats.

Phoenix Suns superstar Devin Booker is still one of the most electric players across the entire NBA.

The 15th pick in the 2015 NBA Draft is entering year 12 in the league. He is unfortunately coming off of one of his least gaudy statistical seasons of his entire career in 2025-26, although this isn't necessarily a terrible thing.

The course of the offseason has re-opened perspective on what a truly transcendent player Booker is, including recent anniversaries that display how diverse of a player he is.

Booker continued the tangent he went on in an Orlando bubble setting that Phoenix barely even qualified for.

The two-guard scored 35 points, grabbed five rebounds, dished out four assists, and blocked two shots in just 29 minutes in a dominant 128-101 victory.

Booker's two-way upside, developing chops as a playmaker, and exceptional range brought the Suns to 6-0 during their eight-game sting in Orlando and started to set the stage for his rise as a superstar.

August 10, 2024: Team USA Gold Medal Game vs. France

Booker fully embraced a "role player" approach to his run during the 2024 Olympics for the second straight time.

It paid dividends in Team USA's victory over France two years ago, as he scored 15 points on just 10 shots, while also grabbing six rebounds and recording three assists.

Booker showed true evolution as a player during this run, as he embraced an extra gear as a defender, while also playing as a connector of the offense and returning to his roots as an off-ball player extraordinaire.

The hope now is that the 6'5" guard returns to his old roots in the season ahead, but he continues to be one of the most scalable players in the entire league.

Booker Put Up Historic Stat Figure Before Age-30

Booker is only one of two players (James Harden) to record 18,000 points and knock down 1,500 three-point looks before turning 30 years old.

Some may say that this is too specific of a stat, while others will point to this being a display of just how much more runway Booker has to become an all-time great in his lane.

The 29-year old will be tested heavily during his age-30 campaign, as players such as breakout guard Collin Gillespie will lean on Booker to continue their progression as vital members of the Suns.
