Ajay Mitchell added yet another stellar performance to his 2025-2026 season so far, scoring 20 Points on a perfect 8/8 FG, two of those being from the Three-Point line, and his only misses of the night coming from the free throw line where he went 2/4 from the stripe. 

Last night, Ajay became the youngest player in OKC franchise history to record 20 points on perfect shooting from the floor. Per our good friend and fellow contributor Daniel Bell, only six other players in franchise history have accomplished this feat. 

Ajay currently has the second highest FG% on isolation plays this season, behind only Harrison Barnes, at 70%. 

Overall, Ajay has given OKC another playmaker on the floor both alongside Shai and when Shai sits, provides OKC another dangerous scorer in the paint and attacker of the rim, can space the floor, and is defending at a high level. 

Are we witnessing the rise of another star in OKC? 

Only time will tell, but one thing is for certain: Ajay Mitchell has arrived, and he isn’t going anywhere.
