According to The Oklahoman Thunder beat reporter Justin Martinez, Jalen Williams revealed to the media after Sunday’s win over the Portland Trail Blazers that him and teammate Cason Wallace have begun a competition to see who will degenerate the most steals this season.

No additional details have been given, but one can assume this competition began with J-Dub’s season Debut last Friday against the Phoenix Suns, and will go through the end of the Thunder’s regular season. 

During the Thunder’s 2024 - 2025 Championship campaign, J-Dub had a total of 111 steals in the regular season compared to Cason’s 120.
