From his mental makeup to his basketball IQ, to his athleticism, and more. Cason Wallace has something that you can't teach when it comes to playing defense at an elite level.

This afternoon at the Oklahoma City Thunder's training camp, I asked two-time NBA All-Defensive team member Alex Caruso about Cason, what he learned from playing with him last year, and where he saw Caso grow the most on that end last season.

"He doesn't care who or it doesn't matter who is on the other side. He's just doing what he does, which, from what I've talked to him, he's been doing this from 7th-8th grade until his 3rd year in the NBA. So it's just a unique combination of like the fearlessness and the special physical talents that he has."
