Step inside Chet Holmgren's personal world. Discover his passions, collectibles, and the authentic personality behind the Thunder star.
Oklahoma City has become one of basketball’s most energized cities, but this weekend the connection between team and community is taking on a new form. Chet Holmgren is stepping beyond the hardwood and into culture, creativity and collectibles with the launch of “Chet’s Room,” a one day pop up experience created in partnership with The Realest and DJ Skee.
Set for Saturday, May 2nd in downtown Oklahoma City, the activation gives Thunder fans something they rarely get in the middle of a playoff run: direct access to the personality behind one of the franchise’s brightest stars.
Located at 1108 N Classen Drive, “Chet’s Room” is designed to recreate Holmgren’s childhood bedroom, turning nostalgia into an immersive fan event. Instead of the typical meet and greet or merchandise table, attendees will step inside a space inspired by the things that shaped Holmgren long before he became one of the NBA’s most unique talents.
There will be custom décor centered around his interests, including gaming setups inspired by his PlayStation, music albums that reflect his tastes, and sports trophies that symbolize the path from gifted prospect to Thunder cornerstone. It is a chance for fans to understand the influences that helped shape Holmgren’s personality and mindset.
That kind of authenticity is what separates this event from a standard athlete appearance.
The Realest has built a reputation in the collectibles world by blending memorabilia with storytelling, while DJ Skee has long operated at the intersection of sports, music and culture. Together with Holmgren, they are bringing an experience that feels modern, personal and curated rather than corporate.
Fans will also have an opportunity to purchase signed limited edition posters authenticated by The Realest, along with additional posters in multiple sizes and exclusive Holmgren merchandise and collectibles. Every piece of poster artwork was personally commissioned by Holmgren, adding another layer of originality to the release.
For collectors, it is a rare chance to grab items tied directly to one of the league’s rising stars. For younger fans, it is an opportunity to see an athlete express himself beyond basketball. And for Oklahoma City, it is another sign the franchise has entered a new era.
The Thunder are no longer simply building toward the future. They are living in it.
Events like this reflect how today’s stars connect with supporters/fans, not just through highlights and box scores, but through lifestyle, art and shared experiences. Holmgren understands that modern fandom is about more than watching games. It is about feeling connected to the people wearing the jersey.
The event will also feature giveaways throughout the day, including a pair of Holmgren’s game worn shoes, giving fans one more reason to line up early.
For one day, downtown Oklahoma City becomes Chet’s world, and Thunder fans are invited inside.
