The Minnesota Timberwolves host the Boston Celtics Saturday at Target Center in Minnesota.

The Minnesota Timberwolves run into the thriving Boston Celtics on Saturday at Target Center in Minnesota, and with a clean bill of health on Minnesota's side and the Celtics potentially missing both of their star players, the Timberwolves have a chance to snap their three game losing streak against a Boston team that has won two games in a row.

Minnesota is looking to recover from hard fought 113-105 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday. There isn't much to report regarding the Timberwolves' injured list an full showing from the whole team and especially stars Anthony Edwards, Rudy Gobert and Julius Randle can be expected for Saturday's game.

The Celtics have been contending with the absence of their franchise player in Jayson Tatum all season while Tatum recovers from an Achilles rupture, leaving the bulk of the scoring to players like Jaylen Brown. However, an update from the Celtics could even out Brown's status in jeopardy.

    Timberwolves Injury Report

Enrique Freeman (face mask) is AVAILABLE for Saturday's game. Freeman has been wearing a face mask all season to protect himself while a facial injury heals, mandating an appearance on the injured list. However, his availability has remained unchanged the entire time he's been wearing the mask, and will be an option for the Timberwolves to call on.

Rocco Zikarsky (two-way) is OUT for Saturday's game as he's playing with the Iowa Wolves, Minnesota's G-League affiliate, in a two-way contract with the team.

    Celtics Injury Report

Jaylen Brown (back) is QUESTIONABLE for Saturday. The Celtics star has been dealing with low back spasms since playing in the Celtics' Nov. 26 win over the Detroit Pistons and Brown's involvement on Saturday will be closer to a game time decision.

Jayson Tatum (ankle) remains OUT as he continues to rehab the Achilles injury he suffered during the 2024-25 Eastern Conference semifinals. Tatum had surgery on the affected Achilles and still has no clear timetable for his return.

Neemias Queta (ankle) is PROBABLE for the game against the Timberwolves. The Boston missed one game with a sprained left ankle, but seems ready to make his return and give the Celtics some much needed support.

Derrick White (calf) is AVAILABLE to play against the Timberwolves. White is listed with a right calf contusion, but hasn't yet missed a game because of it, and will be a big factor for the Celtics when he's on the court.

Ron Harper Jr. (two-way) is OUT on a two-way contract with the Maine Celtics, Boston's G-League affiliate.

Max Shulga (two-way) is also OUT on a two-way contract with Maine.
