The Minnesota Timberwolves are almost healthy against the Portland Trail Blazers, their final game before the All-Star Break.

The Minnesota Timberwolves host the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday, looking to head into the All-Star break with a victory.

The Timberwolves defeated the Atlanta Hawks on Monday, 138-116. The victory snapped a two-game losing streak. They are in the middle of a six-game homestand. The Wolves are 33-22 and 6th in the West.

The Blazers have won three straight, scoring a 135-118 win over the Philadelphia 76ers in their last contest. They won two against the Grizzlies prior to their win against the Sixers. They hit the road for two games before the All-Star break. The Blazers are 16-28 and 9th in the West.

This is the second meeting of the season between the two teams. The Timberwolves beat the Blazers 118-114 on opening night. They will meet twice more in the second half of the season, first on February 24 and again on March 20.

Minnesota Timberwolves Injury Report

Anthony Edwards popped up on the injury report, listed as QUESTIONABLE with an illness. He has not missed a game since January 26.

Some good news for the Timberwolves is that Terrence Shannon Jr is OUT, but he's now designated for G-League assignment.

He was previously OUT with a foot injury and set to be reevaluated after the All-Star break.

The second-year guard has played in 22 games this season, averaging 4.5 points on 40% from three in limited attempts.

Johnny Juzang and Rocco Zikarsky are OUT on G-League two-way deals.

Julius Randle, Rudy Gobert, and Jaden McDaniels are all expected to play.

There has been no decision made on Naz Reid stemming from an altercation with Mouhamed Gueye of the Hawks. Both men were ejected from the game.

This is the final game for the Timberwolves before the All-Star break.

Portland Trail Blazers Injury Report

The Blazers will be without Shaedon Sharpe, who is OUT with a left calf strain. He has missed the last two games after suffering the injury on February 6 against the Memphis Grizzlies.

He's averaging 21.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.6 assists in 48 games this season.

Kris Murray is OUT with a lumbar strain. He has been sidelined since January 5. In 34 games this season, Murray is averaging 6.1 points, four rebounds, and 1.2 assists.

Matisse Thybulle is OUT with right knee tendinopathy. He has played just four games this season.

Damian Lillard might be competing in the three-point contest during All-Star weekend, but he is OUT after undergoing Achilles surgery in the offseason.

The Blazers will face the Utah Jazz on Thursday in their final game before the break.
