The Minnesota Timberwolves set their injury report for game three against the San Antonio Spurs.

The Minnesota Timberwolves look to protect home court against the San Antonio Spurs in game three. 

After stealing game one in San Antonio, the Timberwolves came out flat in game two, losing 133-95. The first quarter was a defensive affair with both teams struggling from the field, but the Spurs started to take control late, leading 24-17 after the first 12 minutes. The lead swelled in the second quarter with the Spurs winning the frame 35-18. They continued to push the lead in the second half, going up by as many as 47 in the middle of the fourth quarter before the game came to an end for Minnesota. 

The series is tied 1-1. Game three takes place at the Target Center and begins at 9:30 PM ET. 

Minnesota Timberwolves Injury Report

Anthony Edwards is QUESTIONABLE with a left knee bone bruise. For the second straight game, Edwards came off the bench for the Timberwolves. He played just over 24 minutes, scoring 12 points and grabbing three rebounds. He had four turnovers and no assists. He's come off the bench in both games this series after missing games five and six in the first round. 

Ayo Dosunmu is QUESTIONABLE with right heel soreness. Dosunmu returned to the lineup in game two, playing 11 minutes, but failing to score, going 0-4 from the field. He  missed game six of the first round and game one of this series. 

Donte DiVincenzo is OUT after undergoing season-ending Achilles surgery. He suffered the injury in game four of the first round. 

The Timberwolves have started Jaden McDaniels, Julius Randle, Rudy Gobert, Terrence Shannon Jr, and Mike Conley in both games this series. It is unknown if Edwards will return to the starting lineup or see an increase in minutes. 

Naz Reid and Jaylen Clark will continue to see the most minutes off the bench for Minnesota. 

San Antonio Spurs Injury Report

For the first time this series, the Spurs have a clean injury report. Carter Bryant had been on the injury report for the first two games of the series. He ended up playing 15 minutes in game two, finishing with two points, two rebounds, and two assists. 

The Spurs are likely to once again start Devin Vassell, Julian Champagnie, Victor Wembanyama, De'Aaron Fox, and Stephon Castle. 

Dylan Harper, Keldon Johnson, and Luke Kornet will continue to see the bulk of the minutes off the bench.
