The Minnesota Timberwolves won their fourth game in a row Thursday night with a 131-122 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The four game heater is the Timberwolves' second-longest streak of the year and the victories have come as a result of a full-team effort. While Anthony Edwards is the natural leader of the offense, he wasn't the team's leader in points in Thursday's win, nor did he need to be.

Four of the five Timberwolves' starters scored 20+ points against the Cavaliers. Edwards had 25, Jaden McDaniels had 26, Donte DiVincenzo finished with 22 and Julius Randle led the way with 28 points. It was the first time since Oct. 26, 2022 that the Timberwolves had four players all score 20+ points in the same game and just the 17th time in franchise history.

Working As a Unit

The way that the Timberwolves have been gelling offensively is a testament to the rhythm and connectivity that the team has built up to this point in the season. Minnesota has no absence of offensive weapons and what the team is able to have all of those weapons firing at once, there aren't many defenses in the NBA that can stop them.

"We're focused as a group," Randle said (via BASKETMAN). We've started to realize how good we can be and it's up to us to prove it every single night."

Stacking together wins the way that the Timberwolves have been lately only magnifies the way that they've been able to build their connectivity.

Winning Helps Everyone Get Along

Nothing promotes team bonding like playing winning basketball together and a four game streak paired with one of the best records in the NBA means that every Minnesota Player has a lot to celebrate with each other.

With the emphasis that the Timberwolves have put on connectivity, winning becomes exponential. When an offense that was elite due to Edwards and Randle and a defense that was elite because of Rudy Gobert both then become elite, not just because of those star players, but because of every player, the overall connectivity of the team is made that much stronger.

"I think we're just connected as a group. We're maturing every single game. Every single day. Trusting and believing in each other every single night. It's fun when we play like this, so connected," Randle said.

The Timberwolves have a chance to stretch their streak to five games with another matchup against the Cavaliers on Saturday, where their connectivity will be tested by a Cleveland team that will be out for revenge.
