The Minnesota Timberwolves set their injury report for game five against the San Antonio Spurs.

The Minnesota Timberwolves look to once again steal a game on the road as they battle the San Antonio Spurs in game five.

The Timberwolves evened the series at two by winning game four, thanks in part to Victor Wembanyama getting ejected in the second quarter after hitting Naz Reid with an elbow. Despite missing Wemby, the Spurs still led by eight in the fourth before Anthony Edwards took over to get the Timberwolves back into it. From there, the rest of the team brought it home to avoid falling behind three games to one.

The series is tied 2-2. Game five takes place at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio with a start time of 8 PM ET.

Minnesota Timberwolves Injury Report

Donte DiVincenzo is OUT after suffering a torn Achilles in game four of the first round against the Denver Nuggets. He has undergone surgery and is on the road to recovery. It is unknown when he will return to the court.

The Timberwolves started Jaden McDaniels, Julius Randle, Rudy Gobert, Anthony Edwards, and Ayo Dosunmu in game four. All five players scored in double figures. Edwards led the way with 36 points, including a monster fourth quarter where he scored 16 points.

Gobert had a double double with 11 points and 13 rebounds. McDaniels had 14 points, Randle had 12, and Dosunmu had 10.

Terrence Shannon Jr, Naz Reid, and Mike Conley all played more than ten minutes off the bench, with Reid logging 30 minutes. He scored 15 points despite going 0-4 from three, and grabbed nine rebounds.

San Antonio Spurs Injury Report

De'Aaron Fox is QUESTIONABLE with right ankle soreness. Fox twisted his ankle in the second half of game four, but finished the contest. He played 37 minutes, finishing with 24 points, four rebounds, and three assists.

Assuming Fox plays, he will start alongside Julian Champagnie, Devin Vassell, Victor Wembanyama, and Stephon Castle.

Though Wemby was given a flagrant two and ejected, there was no further discipline against him and he will be available for game five.

With Wemby ejected in the first half of game four, Fox and Castle led the way among starters. Castle scored 20 points to go along with six rebounds and four assists.

Dylan Harper had a big game off the bench, scoring 24 points and grabbing seven rebounds. Luke Kornet played more minutes with no Wemby, finishing with seven points and nine rebounds. Carter Bryant, Keldon Johnson, and Harrison Barnes all played more than nine minutes.
