The Minnesota Timberwolves could be without some of their top stars against the Houston Rockets.

The Minnesota Timberwolves look to stay sharp when they travel to take on the Houston Rockets on Friday.

The Timberwolves are coming off a 132-120 loss to the Orlando Magic, their fourth loss in five games. They are 47-33 on the season and locked into the sixth seed in the West, giving them little to play for in the final two games.

The Rockets are still battling for playoff positioning, sitting fifth in the West with a 51-29 record. They are tied with the Lakers, who have the tiebreaker against them. They are a game behind the Nuggets, who also have the tiebreaker against them.

These two met on March 25, which was won by the Timberwolves, 110-108 in an overtime thriller that will go down as a regular season classic. The Rockets won the prior meeting on January 16, 110-105.
