The Minnesota Timberwolves will be without key players against the Detroit Pistons.

The Minnesota Timberwolves will look to keep their momentum going when they take on the Detroit Pistons on Saturday. 

The Timberwolves are coming off an epic 110-108 overtime victory over the Houston Rockets, marking their second straight victory. They have won four of their last five. They are 45-28 on the season, putting them fifth in the Western Conference. They are a game behind the Denver Nuggets and a game ahead of the Rockets. 

The Pistons bounced back after an overtime loss to the Atlanta Hawks to defeat the New Orleans Pelicans, 129-108, in their last contest. They have won five of their last six. They remain at the top of the Eastern Conference with a 53-20 record. 

This is the first meeting of the season between the two teams. They'll play again on April 2. 

Minnesota Timberwolves Injury Report

Ayo Dosunmu is QUESTIONABLE with right calf soreness. He missed the last game against the Rockets. Since joining the Timberwolves from the Chicago Bulls, Ayo has played in 18 games, averaging 13.2 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.3 assists. With Anthony Edwards sidelined, he's started the last four games he's suited up in. 

Jaden McDaniels is OUT with right knee soreness. He played 37 minutes against the Rockets, finishing with 25 points, two rebounds, two steals, and two blocks. This will be his first missed game since December 23. He's missed only two games this season. 

Anthony Edwards remains OUT with right knee patellofemoral pain syndrome. He's been out since March 15. There is optimism that he can return at some point over the next week. 

Enrique Freeman, Zyon Pullin, and Rocco Sikarsky are OUT on G-League two-way deals. 

Detroit Pistons Injury Report

Jalen Duren is QUESTIONABLE with right knee injury management. He played 31 minutes against the Pelicans, finishing with 30 points, ten rebounds, seven assists, two steals, and two blocks. He hasn't missed a game since February 19. 

Tobias Harris is QUESTIONABLE with left hip soreness. He played 26 minutes against the Pelicans. He hasn't missed a game since March 13. 

Ausar Thompson is QUESTIONABLE with right ankle injury management. He played 29 minutes against the Pelicans. He hasn't missed a game since March 13. He missed five straight from March 7 to March 13. 

Caris LeVert is PROBABLE with right knee teninopathy. He missed the last game against the Pelicans. He's averaging 7.3 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 2.7 assists in 52 games this season. 

Marcus Sasser is PROBABLE with a right hip strain. He played 16 minutes against the Pelicans, making his return to the lineup after missing three straight. 

Duncan Robinson is QUESTIONABLE with a right hip strain. He missed the last game against the Pelicans, just his third missed game of the season. 

Cade Cunningham is OUT with a left lung pneumothorax. He was set to be reevaluated in two weeks from March 19. 

Isaiah Stewart is OUT with a left calf strain. He's been out since March 13. 

Isaac Jones, Bobi Klintman, and Wendell Moore Jr are all OUT on G-League two-way deals.
