The Minnesota Timberwolves could get some help against the Orlando Magic.

The Minnesota Timberwolves will look to start a win streak when they take on the Orlando Magic on Wednesday. 

The Timberwolves snapped their three game losing streak in their last game on Tuesday, besting the Indiana Pacers, 124-104. They have clinched an outright playoff spot, sitting sixth in the West with a 47-32 record. They trail the Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Lakers by three games. 

The Magic have won three straight, taking down the Detroit Pistons in their last contest, 123-107. They've won four of their last five. They are eighth in the East and could still land an outright playoff spot. They have a 43-36 record on the season, sitting two games behind the Atlanta Hawks, who are fifth, and a game behind the Toronto Raptors, who are sixth. 

These two teams met for the only other time this season on March 7, a 119-92 victory for the Magic. 

Minnesota Timberwolves Injury Report

Jaden McDaniels is QUESTIONABLE with left knee patella tendinopathy. He's been out since March 25. He's averaging 14.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.7 assists in 71 games this season. 

Rudy Gobert is QUESTIONABLE on rest. He played 33 minutes against the Pacers, finishing with five points, 12 rebounds, three assists, and two blocks. The Timberwolves are effectively locked into the six seed, giving them little incentive to play guys in the final games. 

Mike Conley is OUT on rest. He played 21 minutes against the Pacers, scoring eight points and adding two rebounds, three assists, and three steals. 

Julius Randle is OUT with right hand soreness. He played 28 minutes against the Pacers, finishing with 19 points, two rebounds, and four assists. He has not missed a game this season. 

Anthony Edwards remains OUT with right knee injury maintenance. He has not played since April 3. 

Ayo Dosunmu is OUT with right calf injury maintenance. He played 33 minutes against the Pacers, scoring 24 points on 10-17 shooting. 

Orlando Magic Injury Report

Jamal Cain is QUESTIONABLE with a left calf contusion. He hasn't missed a game since March 14. In 37 games this season, he's averaging five points, 1.8 reounds, and 0.7 assists this season playing just 11.6 minutes off the bench. 

Wendell Carter Jr is QUESTIONABLE with a nasal fracture. He hasn't missed a game since March 19, but was limited to 18 minutes due to injury against the Pistons. He's averaging 12.1 points, 7.4 rebound, and two assists in 75 games this season. He's started in all 75 games he's appeared in. 

Jett Howard is OUT with a left ankle sprain. He missed the last game against the Pistons. 

Jonathan Isaac is OUT with a left knee sprain. He's been out since March 12. On March 18, it was reported that there was no timetable for his return and was considered week-to-week.
