The Minnesota Timberwolves could continue to be shorthanded against the Boston Celtics.

The Minnesota Timberwolves will look to bounce back when they take on the Boston Celtics on Sunday.

The Wolves are coming off a 108-104 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers, snapping their two-game win streak. They are 5-5 in their last ten games. They sit sixth in the Western Conference with a 43-28 record, tied with the Denver Nuggets. They are a half game back of the Houston Rockets for fourth, but three games back of the Los Angeles Lakers for third.

The Celtics have won four straight, downing the Memphis Grizzlies, 117-112, in their last game. They are 7-3 in their last ten. On the season, they are 47-23, putting them second in the East. They are 1.5 games ahead of the New York Knicks, but trail the Detroit Pistons by four games.

Minnesota won the November 29 meeting between the two squads, 119-115. They won't meet again this season after today.

Minnesota Timberwolves Injury Report

Naz Reid is QUESTIONABLE with a right ankle sprain. He has missed the last two games. On March 17, against the Phoenix Suns, Reid left the game after playing just 18 minutes with an ankle sprain. The former Sixth Man of the Year is averaging 13.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.4 assists in 68 games this season.

Anthony Edwards is OUT with right knee patellofemoral pain syndrome. He has missed the last three games. On March 17, the team announced that Edwards would miss at least one to two weeks. The All-Star MVP is averaging a career high 29.5 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 3.7 assists this season.

Enrique Freeman and Rocco Sikarsky are OUT on G-League two-way deals.

Boston Celtics Injury Report

The Celtics are listing Jaylen Brown as PROBABLE with a left quad contusion. Brown has not missed a game since March 2. He has sat in back-to-back situations since February, but the Celtics' last game was on March 20, and their next game is on March 25, so a back-to-back doesn't apply here.

Brown is averaging 28.5 points, seven rebounds, and 5.2 assists in 63 games this season, turning himself into an MVP candidate while Jayson Tatum has missed the majority of the season.

Nikola Vucevic is OUT with a fractured right ring finger. He underwent surgery for the injury on March 7 and was set to be reevaluated in three to four weeks. In 12 games with the Celtics, he is averaging 10.4 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 1.8 assists.

Max Shulga and Amari Williams are QUESTIONABLE on G-League assignment. John Tonje is OUT on a G-League two-way deal.
