Brandin Podziemski reacted to playing all 82 games for the Warriors this season.

To play all 82 games (or more in certain scenarios) is a very impressive feat. In fact, the NBA hasn't seen more than 20 players achieve this mark since the 2018-19 season, making it now the sixth season in a row, considering the shortened lengths of the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons.

This year, 18 players managed to play 82 games, with Julian Champagnie and Keldon Johnson of the Spurs and Mikal Bridges of the Knicks playing 83 thanks to their participation in the NBA Cup Final.

Out of those 18, the only representative from the Golden State Warriors was none other than third-year guard Brandin Podziemski. With all the injuries the Warriors have dealt with this year, it's a wonder that Podziemski was able to stay completely healthy throughout the whole season and provide his services in every single game.

Podziemski Reacts To Playing All 82 Games

After the Warriors' season finale on Sunday, Podziemski was reportedly given a standing ovation by his teammates in the locker room in recognition of this achievement, and reacted to both that reception and the honor of playing the entire season.

"It was appreciated for sure. You know, it's not easy in this day and age with the games and the speed of the game and the amount of back-to-backs we got. Just being able to prepare my body for all 82, definitely special for me."

Podziemski later elaborated on what exactly makes it so difficult in this new generation of basketball and how he perceives it to be changing.

"I think it's just a lot more transition (and) flow offense. Running the floor. A lot less half court sets. A lot less time of possession, so there's a lot of transition in between. I think as time goes on, you're just going to see players get more and more skilled, so the amount of force you got to generate on your body, both offense and defense consistently over time, I think that's what makes it difficult."

Podziemski Is High On Rankings Of NBA's 'Iron Men'

Out of the 18 different players in the NBA that played at least 82 games this year, Podziemski would likely end up on the All-Iron Men Second Team, if not the First Team, amongst that group.

In terms of minutes per game, Podziemski came in at fifth at 28.5, below four players that averaged over 30 minutes: Desmond Bane, Toumani Camara, Mikal Bridges, and Donte DiVincenzo.

In terms of scoring, though, Podziemski rises to fourth with his 13.8 points-per-game season, just behind Bridges and rookie Jeremiah Fears. Bane leads the pack at over 20 points per game.

Podziemski is also fourth in rebounds per game and sixth in assists per game, showing off his versatility that helped the Warriors in so many games this season.

The third-year guard has been magnificent in an increased role since the calendar flipped to March, and playing all 82 games is a very impressive feat, especially considering he played 74 in his rookie year and just 64 last year due to a couple of injuries.

Heading into the Play-In Tournament, the Warriors will definitely make good use of Podziemski's quality play out on the court just as they have in every game this season.
