Golden State Warriors vs. Brooklyn Nets Injury Report cover image

The Golden State Warriors play the Brooklyn Nets Monday at Barclays Center in New York.

The Golden State Warriors suffered a heartbreaking overtime loss to the Toronto Raptors on Sunday, but an opportunity against the struggling Brooklyn Nets means a chance for the Warriors to secure a win and gain some momentum that they lost.

Golden State will be working at close to full strength in the game with just a handful of injuries to work with to their role players, but against the Nets a 100% healthy roster may not be needed.

Steph Curry will be looking to follow up on his massive 39 point performance against the Raptors as will Draymond Green, who reached a season-high in points against Toronto. If the Warriors' Big Three are playing at top form, that should be more than enough to power Golden State through.

It's been an average season for the Warriors so far, but a win against the Nets could be the kind of resurgent performance that gets the Warriors rolling again just in time for the second half of the season.

Warriors Injury Report

Jimmy Butler III (back) is PROBABLE to appear in Monday's game despite dealing with low back soreness.

Al Horford (toe, injury management) is OUT for Monday's game for injury management to help with the toe injury that Horford has dealt with for most of the season. He was on a minutes restriction in the Warriors's game against the Toronto Raptors on Sunday, so this decision comes as no surprise.

Seth Curry (sciatic nerve) is OUT for Monday's game due to sciatic nerve irritation. Curry hasn't played since Dec. 4 and will be re-evaluated in two weeks after an MRI revealed the sciatic nerve irritation.

Malevy Leons (two-way) is also OUT for Monday's game while playing in the G-League with the Santa Cruz Warriors.

Nets Injury Report

Haywood Highsmith (knee) is OUT for Monday's game as he continues to recover from knee surgery. Highsmith underwent surgery to repair a right meniscal tear in early August and will be out roughly 8-10 weeks since the date of the surgery.

Tyson Etienne, Chaney Johnson, E.J. Liddell and Ben Saraf (two-way) are all OUT fro Monday's game as they're playing in the G-League.
