The Golden State Warriors are looking to recover from a tough, short-handed loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder with a matchup against the Utah Jazz, but even though the Warriors are seeing the return of at least one major star compared to last game, two other members of the Big Three still have their game-time statuses up in the air. 

Injury issues have been a persistent problem for the Warriors throughout the season, an issue that unfortunately comes with the age of several of their main contributors. 

The Jazz are facing a similar, but less severe, issue to the Warriors in terms of uncertain playing statuses for their stars, but Utah is still in comparatively better shape which is a low bar when looking at the Warriors' long list of nagging issues.

Jimmy Butler III (illness) is QUESTIONABLE to appear in Saturday's game. Butler III missed the Warriors' last game, a 131-94 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, alongside fellow stars Steph Curry and Draymond Green. 

Steph Curry (ankle) is QUESTIONABLE to play Saturday due to a sprained left ankle. The Warriors star missed Golden State's last game, a 131-94 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, for the same issue and uncertainty around both his and Butler III's statuses has the potential to leave the Golden State offense in peril once again. 

Jonathan Kuminga (back) is QUESTIONABLE to play in Saturday's game due to bilateral low back soreness. The young Golden State forward has been out since Dec. 18 and an upgrade to questionable status, while still not definitively good news, is a welcome sign for a Warriors team that has suffered the absences of their most crucial players often this season. 

Will Richard (heel) is PROBABLE to play in Saturday's game despite dealing with left retrocalcaneal impingement, a condition affecting the heel and back of the foot. 

Seth Curry (sciatic nerve) is OUT once again due to left sciatic nerve irritation. This has been a consistent issue for Curry, who has played just two games in the regular season for Golden State. Curry recently underwent an MRI that revealed the extent of the sciatic nerve issue and is due to be re-evaluated in roughly one week. 

Al Horford (toe) is OUT for  injury management to maintain a toe issue that has been a thorn in his side throughout the season. Horford has been out intermittently throughout the season because of it, including mutli-day stretches in both late November and early December. 

Li Cryer and Malevy Leons (two-way) are both OUT on Saturday as they're playing with the Santa Cruz Warriors, Golden State's G-League affiliate, on two-way contracts. 

Ace Bailey (hip) is OUT for Saturday's game with a left hip flexor strain. This will be the fourth-straight game that Bailey will miss due to the hip strain he suffered after the Jazz's 131-129 win over the Detroit Pistons. 

Walker Kessler (shoulder ) is OUT while he recovers from a should injury that's kept him sidelined since Oct. 31.

Keyonte George (illness) is AVAILABLE for Saturday's game due to illness. George missed the Jazz's last game against the Los Angeles Clippers on Jan. 1 for the same issue. 

Lauri Markkanen (knee) is PROBABLE due to a knee contusion. The Jazz's leading-scorer also missed the Jazz's Jan. 1 game against the Clippers, but an upgrade to questionable status is certainly better than an outright absence for the Utah star. 

Georges Niang (foot) is OUT for Saturday's game due to a left metatarsal stress reaction that's kept Niang out for the entirety of the season so far. There's still no clear timeline for Niang's return. 

Jusuf Nurkic (foot) is QUESTIONABLE for Saturday's game due to a left first metatarsophalangeal sprain, a sprain to the joint that connects the big toe to the foot and is crucial for movement. 

Elijah Harkless and John Tonje (two-way) are both OUT for Saturday's game and fulfilling commitments to the Salt lake City Stars, Utah's G-League affiliate, on two-way contracts.
