Seth Curry has barely been able to stay on the floor for the Golden State Warriors this season, but he's feeling better. And he made it clear he wants to make the most of whatever time he has left in 2025-26.
The Golden State Warriors guard has appeared in just six games all season, a year defined almost entirely by injury. He's dealt with a thigh issue and an adductor problem that have kept him out for extended stretches, including a gap that lasted from December all the way through mid-March.
He's played in four games since returning, working his way back in limited minutes while trying to find his footing. After Wednesday's game against the San Antonio Spurs, Curry addressed where he's at physically.
"Feel pretty good," he said. "Going out there, trying to use my limited minutes, days to build and get in shape and get stronger and try to show ways that I could help this team down the stretch of the season. It's been a tough situation, but I feel pretty good."

That's a pretty honest assessment for a guy who has just been doing his best to get on the floor. Seth Curry came to Golden State with a clear role in mind. He's a veteran shooter who can space the floor, knock down threes off movement, and provide reliable depth on a team with championship aspirations.
He's one of the better pure shooters in the league at his position and carries a career three-point percentage that puts him among the all-time leaders at the position. But none of that has mattered much this season because he simply hasn't been available.
Six games is a number that barely registers on a team's radar, let alone contributes meaningfully to wins and losses. The Warriors have had to move forward without him for the vast majority of the year, and at this point the season is nearly over.
What He Can Still Offer
The key phrase in Curry's quote is "show ways that I could help this team down the stretch." This is a veteran that's not just going through the motions, he's actively auditioning for a role in what little remains of the regular season.
Golden State will be in the play-in tournament, and Seth gives them a credible three-point threat off the bench. His skills are genuinely useful when you're trying to close out games or generate offense against a switching defense.
His shooting gravity alone creates opportunities for others, and he doesn't need the ball in his hands to be effective. The chances of doing anything meaningful this season are slim to none for Golden State, but Curry can still provide help.
The Warriors need every available weapon they can get right now. If Curry can stay healthy and build on these recent appearances, he gives them a genuine depth piece at a time when depth is exactly what they're short on.
