The Golden State Warriors came into Monday night's matchup against the Orlando Magic looking to do something they had only accomplished once since mid-November: win back-to-back games. They did exactly that, and then some.

Golden State dominated the second half at Chase Center, outscoring Orlando 62-40 after halftime to cruise to a 120-97 victory that improved the Warriors to 15-15 on the season.

It was their largest win margin of the month, and the way they got there is what stood out most to Stephen Curry.

Curry's Take on the Offensive Approach

After the game, Curry shared his thoughts on how Golden State executed offensively, even when shots weren't dropping early on.

"I think our intentions were good on offense to try and move the ball, move bodies, get organized, and to your point we didn't get discouraged if shots weren't falling," Curry said. "We still played with force on both ends and 13 turnovers, we look at that number as a good indicator of decisive basketball. I think everybody played confidently, with a purpose, meaning if you had a shot shoot it, if you got a driving angle take it, if you don't have anything swing it. It was a good, concerted effort to do that no matter if shots were falling or not."

That decisiveness showed up in the box score, as the Warriors took care of the basketball while forcing 18 Orlando turnovers that led to easy transition opportunities in the second half.

Curry Leads Strong Second-Half Surge

Curry finished with 26 points, going 10-of-23 from the field and adding six assists along with two steals in just 31 minutes of action.

The four-time champion is averaging 28.7 points per game this season, and he saved 18 of his 26 points for the second half when the Warriors really pulled away from a one-point halftime lead.

Supporting Cast Delivers Big Performances

While Curry was the engine, he didn't have to carry the load alone against a shorthanded Magic squad that was missing Franz Wagner, Jalen Suggs, and Moe Wagner due to injuries.

Jimmy Butler III added 21 points on efficient 7-of-9 shooting while also coming up with a big block on Paolo Banchero in a key sequence, and Moses Moody stepped up as a third scoring option with 20 points on 8-of-11 shooting, including three made three-pointers.

Brandin Podziemski was a spark plug off the bench, racking up a team-best plus-36 as the Warriors outscored Orlando by 28 points after Draymond Green exited following a third-quarter confrontation with head coach Steve Kerr.

What's Next

The win brings the Warriors back to .500 at 15-15 and marks just their second winning streak since mid-November.

For Golden State, the formula Curry described, playing with purpose and staying confident even when shots aren't falling, will need to continue if they want to climb up the Western Conference standings.

The Warriors have proven they have the talent when everyone is locked in, and Monday night was a clear example of what they're capable of.
