The Golden State Warriors came into Saturday night's matchup against the Utah Jazz looking to bounce back after a tough 37-point loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder just two days earlier.

Despite losing Draymond Green to an ejection in the second quarter, the Warriors found a way to pull out a 123-114 win at Chase Center and improve to 18-17 on the season.

Curry Keeps It Simple

After the game, star guard Stephen Curry was asked about the team playing without Green for most of the night, and his response was simple and direct.

"We won the game," Curry said. "That's all we care about, that's all he cares about. I know he'd rather be out there. I don't know what he said to the ref, but the consensus in the locker room was it wasn't enough to get thrown out."

The comment shows where Curry's focus remains as the Warriors try to find their footing in a season that has had plenty of ups and downs.

Golden State now sits in eighth place in the Western Conference while the Jazz dropped to 12-22 with the loss.

A Vintage Third Quarter

Curry put together one of his signature third-quarter performances, which helped the Warriors erase a 12-point deficit they faced after Green's ejection.

The future Hall of Famer scored 20 of his 31 points in the third quarter alone, going 6-of-8 from the field and 4-of-6 from three-point range during that stretch.

For the game, Curry finished with 31 points on 8-of-18 shooting, including 6-of-12 from beyond the arc and a perfect 9-of-9 from the free throw line.

He also added five assists, two rebounds, and one steal in 34 minutes of action.

On the season, Curry is averaging 28.7 points, 4.3 assists, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 46.8 percent from the field and 39.4 percent from three.

The 37-year-old continues to show he can still take over games when his team needs him most.

Looking Ahead

The win gave Golden State six victories in their last eight games, which is a welcome stretch of play after a rocky start to the season.

Head coach Steve Kerr knows that Curry was the difference on Saturday night, and he did not hold back when talking about his star player's impact.

"It wasn't me, it wasn't my play calls or anything. It was just Steph," Kerr said. "That's how good he is."

The Warriors will look to keep the good times rolling when they take on the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night at Intuit Dome.
