The Golden State Warriors and Minnesota Timberwolves play 24 hours later than originally scheduled after Saturday's game was postponed due to a fatal shooting in Minnesota.
The Warriors are coming off a 123-115 loss to the Dallas Mavericks in their last contest. This is their second game of a four-game road trip. They'll remain in Minnesota to face the Timberwolves once again on Monday.
The Timberwolves fell to the Chicago Bulls, 120-115, in their last game. They have lost four straight contests.
This is the first meeting since December 12 between the two teams and the second meeting of the season. The Wolves were victorious in the December matchup in Golden State, 127-120.
Steph Curry popped up as QUESTIONABLE with right knee soreness on the injury report. He was not listed on Saturday's injury report.
Curry played 34 minutes against the Mavericks, finishing with 38 points but just one assist. He's played in 36 games this season and hasn't missed a game since January 2 against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Al Horford also showed up as QUESTIONABLE with left toe injury management. He was not on Saturday's report, but the game-changing to a back-to-back may have affected his status coming off the toe injury. Horford played 26 minutes against the Mavericks.
He has not played in a back-to-back situation all season.
De'Anthony Melton is QUESTIONABLE with left knee injury management. Much like Horford, the back-to-back seemed to change Melton's status as he was absent from the Saturday report. He, too, has sat in back-to-back situations this year.
Jonathan Kuminga is OUT with left knee soreness. He suffered the injury against the Mavericks, playing just nine minutes in the contest. Kuminga had just returned to the lineup after being a healthy scratch for 16 straight games.
Kuminga's return came to fruition due to Jimmy Butler suffering a torn ACL against the Miami Heat. Butler is OUT for the season.
Seth Curry remains OUT with left sciatic nerve irritation. He has not played since December 4 and has played in only two games this season.
The Wolves enter the contest with a relatively clean bill of health as Terrence Shannon Jr is the only rotation player listed as OUT.
Shannon Jr. is dealing with a left foot abductor hallucis strain and has been sidelined since Christmas Day. In 22 games this season, the second-year guard is averaging 4.5 points and 1.3 rebounds.
Rocco Zikarsky and Enrique Freeman are both OUT due to G-League two-way deals.
