The Warriors could find themselves in a reset soon.
The Golden State Warriors have had a relatively quiet offseason, and it has left fans with some questions about what’s to come from this team moving forward.
Stephen Curry and Steve Kerr seem to be nearing the end of their tenures with the franchise, but the Warriors have chosen to stay put with a very similar roster from this past season.
It appears that their quiet approach to the offseason is indicative of their outlook on what they want to do moving forward as a franchise. For Golden State, this year could be a “gap year” for them.

This team is already shorthanded, as both Jimmy Butler and Moses Moody may not be ready to start the season due to both of them rehabbing from season-ending injuries.
The Warriors did not add much help to that area of the roster and will likely put their guard Brandin Podziemski as their second option with Stephen Curry.

In terms of what’s next for Stephen Curry and Draymond Green, the days of competing for a championship may be past them.
The front office has had the opportunity to sign big-name free agents and fill out some of the depth around the roster, but they have not done so.
The Warriors were one of the teams in contention to sign LeBron James this offseason, but James and his team decided to go elsewhere and sign with the Philadelphia 76ers.
Other pieces like Collin Sexton and Anfernee Simons were available to sign this offseason as well, but Golden State never made a push to sign either of the two.

The issue the Warriors may be running into is the fact that he’s an older prospect. Lendeborg will be 24 years old at the start of the regular season, and we could be seeing his ceiling as a player sooner than expected.
The Warriors will have a tough start to their season with two key starters out, and it will be interesting to see how Stephen Curry will navigate through this moving forward.
