The Golden State Warriors defeated the Memphis Grizzlies Monday night 131-118 at the Chase Center. The Warriors were led by a balanced offense as four players scored 20 points or more in the victory.

It was the first game of the second back-to-back for the Warriors who will next face the Los Angeles Clippers Tuesday night at home.

Jonathan Kuminga led the Warriors with a double-double as he scored 25 points and had 10 rebounds on the night. He also dished out four assists. Brandin Podziemski scored 23 points, while Moses Moody and Jimmy Butler added 20 points a piece. Moody had five 3-point field goals in the shooting barrage.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr spoke glowingly of Kuminga after the game.

“The way he’s rebounding, the way he’s attacking the rim, that’s what makes him special. When he’s playing to that talent, to that ability, it changes our team,” Kerr said. "JK has been fantastic. It just feels like he has found his spot with this group."

The Grizzlies were led by guard Ja Morant's 23 points.

Golden State jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the first minute. Podziemski had a 3-pointer and Curry scored the first of his four triples of the night.

The Warriors held a slim 65-61 lead at halftime thanks to Butler's 16 first-half points.

In the third quarter, the lead grew to 19 as Moody took over. He made three 3-point baskets and added three from the charity stripe.

Kuminga closed it out with four baskets in the final quarter.

Kerr was pleased with the rotation and ball movement that Golden State displayed Monday night.

"My favorite thing is when we can get 10, 12 guys contributing to a win," Kerr said. "Every night is different, but everybody feels really engaged and important. There's a spirit that's captured within the team."

Center Al Horford did not play Monday night, but will get start on Tuesday. He does not play both legs of a back-to-back for load management reasons.
