Warriors Post Clean Injury Report Ahead Of Road Matchup Against Clippers cover image

The Warriors had a clean injury report ahead of their road matchup with the Clippers.

As the Golden State Warriors get set to play their only road game over the next two and a half weeks, with their matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night, they got some great news on the injury report ahead of the game.

In what has been a relatively rare sight this season, all of the Warriors' rotation players were off the injury report.

Seth Curry, G-Leaguers Lone Players On Warriors Injury Report

Though the injury report has been littered with different players appearing on-and-off, especially considering the caution around Al Horford and De'Anthony Melton for back-to-backs, everything aligned for the Warriors to face one of their Southern Californian counterparts.

The only Warriors on the injury report were Seth Curry, LJ Cryer, and Malevy Leons.

Curry has been out for the past few weeks, ever since re-signing with the Warriors at the beginning of December. He only played in two games before suffering an injury. It was eventually revealed to be sciatic nerve irritation confirmed by an MRI, and just after Christmas, it was announced that Curry would be reevaluated in two weeks.

Cryer and Leons are both G-League players signed to two-way contracts. Both are unlikely to find their way onto the main roster this year, barring major injuries. But, they have been getting good run with the Santa Cruz Warriors and could become valuable pieces down the road.

Clippers Star Listed As Questionable

One of the biggest issues to plague the Clippers in recent years has been the health of their stars. In particular, that applies to Kawhi Leonard, who has only played more than 60 games in a season once in his previous 6 years in Los Angeles.

It's been a different story this year, though, as he's now played the last 18 games in a row, averaging nearly 30 points per game.

However, Leonard's running mate, James Harden, is now in danger of missing today's game after popping up on the injury report as questionable with right shoulder soreness. Harden has been extremely durable this season, missing only two games all year, so this would be a surprise if the one-time MVP is unable to play.

Forward Derrick Jones Jr. is officially out for an extended period of time with his second MCL sprain of the season. The first one caused him to miss over a month, and he had just returned to play the last four games. However, Jones suffered the injury again against Boston and will now be reevaluated in six weeks.

Another notable name is Bogdan Bogdanovic, who will miss his fifth-straight game for left hamstring injury management. Bogdanovic suffered an injury the day after Christmas and hasn't played since.

Finally, rookie Yanic Konan Niederhauser is probable to play due to an illness, though he likely wouldn't see the floor too much anyway now that Ivica Zubac is back from his injury.

The other players on the injury report for the Clippers — Bradley Beal and Chris Paul — are out for the season and not with the team, respectively.

The Clippers' overall record is still just 12-22, and the Warriors easily won the first matchup 98-79 back in October, but this seems to be a different Clippers team than earlier in the season that cannot be underestimated, even if Harden is on the bench.
