The Warriors will be playing yet another team missing their star player.

The Golden State Warriors rolled to an easy victory on Tuesday night against the Portland Trail Blazers thanks to their star player, Deni Avdija, sitting on the bench with back soreness. Without the man that's been the focal point of their offense in every game this season, the Blazers looked lost on offense and allowed the Warriors to take advantage for a clean win.

For the second game in a row, the Warriors injury luck remains on their side. The New York Knicks come to town for their lone game of the year at Chase Center, but their captain, Jalen Brunson, will be forced to watch his team from the sidelines.

Warriors Stay Healthy

The Warriors have posted the same injury report for four games in a row. Draymond Green and Gary Payton II popped up on the report for their game against the Milwaukee Bucks last Wednesday, but since then, it's been the same players occupying the Warriors' section of the report.

Seth Curry remains out with a sciatica issue, while LJ Cryer and Malevy Leons are listed on there due to their status as two-way players that need to be called up ahead of time to be available to play for the Warriors.

The Warriors have been playing well, and their two wins in this stretch of supreme health were major blowouts. They'll try to repeat that success tonight against what could be a vulnerable Knicks team.

Knicks Will Be Without Jalen Brunson

Many New Yorkers were left anxious yesterday when Jalen Brunson went down with a non-contact ankle injury while playing the Sacramento Kings. Brunson had played just five minutes before suffering the injury and went back to the locker room as soon as he could exit the game.

The Knicks' injury report was somewhat delayed today, but eventually revealed that Brunson would be held out of this game and was deemed to be day-to-day with a right ankle sprain.

Brunson leads the Knicks in points and assists at 28.2 and 6.1, respectively, and is the catalyst for much of their offense, even with players like Karl-Anthony Towns, Mikal Bridges, and OG Anunoby all averaging 15+ points, as well.

He's only missed three games all year, in which the Knicks went 1-2, splitting two games with the Heat and losing to the Timberwolves. However, the aforementioned players, as well as Miles McBride, who will likely step into the starting lineup, are not to be underestimated.

Joining Brunson on the bench will be Mitchell Robinson, who is listed as out with left ankle injury management. He's played the last six games, and this is nothing more than some rest for the injury-prone big man on the second night of a back-to-back, though it will place more of a load on Towns to be the primary big man.

The Warriors handled the undermanned Blazers well on Tuesday, and they'll have to do the same with the Knicks tonight.
