Former Gonzaga standout Graham Ike is reportedly headed to Golden State on a two-way deal after helping its Summer League team win a title.

The Golden State Warriors are adding another big man to their development group.

Golden State is signing former Gonzaga standout Graham Ike to a two-year, two-way contract, according to Luca Evans of the San Francisco Chronicle. The reported agreement fills the Warriors’ final two-way roster spot, with Ike joining LJ Cryer and Malevy Leons.

Ike, 24, was not selected in the 2026 NBA draft. He stayed on Golden State’s radar by playing well for its Summer League team, averaging 10 points and 7.2 rebounds across nine games. The Warriors went on to win the Summer League title.

The contract gives Ike a chance to continue working with the organization through training camp and the regular season. A two-way deal allows him to spend time with Golden State’s G League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors, while remaining available to the NBA team.

What Ike brings to Golden State

Ike developed into one of college basketball’s most productive big men after beginning his career at Wyoming and transferring to Gonzaga. He averaged 17.8 points and 7.5 rebounds over three seasons with the Bulldogs and earned All-American honors in 2025-26.

At 6-foot-9, he does not have the height of a traditional NBA center. His case for playing time will depend on how well he scores, rebounds and competes against bigger and more athletic frontcourts. He showed enough offensive skill in Summer League to earn a longer look.

Evans also reported that Ike developed promising pick-and-roll chemistry with Warriors rookie Yaxel Lendeborg. That connection is worth watching during camp, particularly if the two spend time together with Santa Cruz. Summer League success alone does not establish that they will become an NBA pairing, but it gives Golden State something to build on.

Warriors complete their two-way group

Ike’s reported deal closes Golden State’s three-player two-way group for now. It also changes the immediate outlook for Lajae Jones, the Warriors’ 2026 second-round pick. Jones has signed with Italian club Pallacanestro Trieste, and Golden State will retain his NBA rights.

There may be an opening for Ike to make an NBA contribution this season. The Chronicle noted that the Warriors cannot assume Kristaps Porzingis will play on consecutive days, while Al Horford missed 37 regular-season games last season. If Golden State needs another frontcourt option, Ike will have a chance to show whether he is ready.

For now, the two-way contract should be viewed as an opportunity to develop rather than a promise of rotation minutes. Ike will have to prove he can defend NBA players and provide reliable minutes when called upon. His college production and Summer League performance earned him the chance to try.

Warriors training camp begins Sept. 29 in Hawaii. That will be Ike’s next opportunity to turn a promising summer into a larger role.
