Los Angeles Clippers (18-23 ) vs. Washington Wizards (10-31)
When & Where: Monday, January 19, 3:00 PM ET, Capital One Arena
How to watch: Monumental Sports Network, League Pass
The Washington Wizards are set to host the Clippers on Monday afternoon with tipoff set for 3 PM on Martin Luther King Day.
This marks the second meeting between the two teams after falling 119-104 just five days ago, a game where Alex Sarr was ejected and Bilal Coulibaly left due to injury.
Coulibaly was one of four players ruled out on Monday with Tristan Vukcevic ruled out due to a left hamstring strain, while Trae Young remains inactive as expected with a right knee MCL sprain and quad contusion. Cam Whitmore, of course, remains sidelined after the team announced he will miss the remainder of the 2025-26 season due to right shoulder deep vein thrombosis.
While the Clippers are 7-14 on the road this season, they also enter Monday's matchup as the hottest team with a league-leading five game win streak. Los Angeles is 12-2 since a 15 point win against their cross town rival Lakers on Dec. 20.
Washington, meanwhile, are looking to snap a six-game losing streak after ending the 2025 slate on a high note.
But the Clippers will be without a key piece with star forward Kawhi Leonard no longer with the team on the road trip after dealing with left knee irritation after suffering a left knee contusion the week prior. While Leonard is expected to be reassessed following the road trip, fans also won't be able to see a former Wizard with Bradley Beal undergoing season-ending surgery for a hip fracture back in November. Bogdan Bogdanovic remains inactive due to a left hamstring injury and Derrick Jones Jr. still sidelined due to a right knee sprain.
James Harden, who scored 22 in the last matchup, will look to shoulder more of the scoring load as he enters Monday averaging 25.8 points per game, his most since averaging 34.3 during the 2019-20 season. The Clippers will have one boost back as center John Collins, who has not played since Jan. 12 vs. Charlotte due to right groin soreness, will be available on Monday.
Following Monday's afternoon game, the Wizards will enjoy a mini-break the rest of the week with the team slated to return to action on Thursday night against the Denver Nuggets after falling short against the Jokic-less squad on Saturday night.
