After suffering a 21 point loss against the Miami Heat on Tuesday night for the ninth consecutive loss of the season, the Washington Wizards will look to bounce back against another divisional foe on Thursday night when they take on the Orlando Magic in the second game in the three game road trip.

This marks the fourth and final meeting between the two teams this season. Orlando handed Washington a 31 point defeat back on Nov. 1 for the fifth loss of the season before getting revenge on Jan. 6 with a 120-112 win at home. The teams also met just nine days ago when the Magic secured a 17 point win in Orlando against a short handed Wizards squad just two days before Trae Young made his Wizards debut.

Orlando marks the latest top team set to square off against Washington with the Magic entering tipoff 36-28 overall. The Magic are coming off a six point win against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night at home for their fifth consecutive win.

The Magic have yet to release their injury report as of midnight, though they were without both Anthony Black and Franz Wagner, while Jonathan Isaac and Jase Richardson were listed as available.

On the other side, both Trae Young and Jamir Watkins are off the injury report for Washington as both look to return on Thursday night. Young was a late scratch in Tuesday's loss due to right knee injury management as the front office remains patient with his recovery process. Watkins has missed the last four games due to a sprained ankle and foot as he returns weeks removed from his new deal.

One new addition to the injury report is Bub Carrington, who is ruled questionable due to right hip flexor soreness. Kyshawn George remains sidelined due to a left elbow strain, joining Anthony Davis and Cam Whitmore on the bench. D'Angelo Russell remains inactive and listed as not with the team despite no buyout coming to fruition ahead of the deadline.

Following Thursday night's road game, Washington is set to close out its road trip with a trip to Boston to take on the Celtics on Saturday night with Jayson Tatum now back on the court, cementing a brutal stretch for the Wizards with playoff contenders on the schedule over the next two weeks. After Tuesday night's humiliating defeat that ended with Bam Adebayo banking on the free throw line to record the second-highest scoring game in NBA history, Thursday night marks a chance for the Wizards to respond with a statement in the final matchup in the season series.
