Young, Will Riley, and Bilal Coulibaly, each scored 21 points, as the Wizards battled in a much-more competitive effort than the previous night.
Young delivered some flashes in the first, including a step-back three and a dime to a cutting Coulibaly. Jamir Watkins picked up a technical foul after Brandon Podziemski received contact to his face on a drive. Watkins argued the call.
This sparked an 11-2 Warriors run to close the first quarter. Washington struggled to take care of the basketball in that stretch, giving Golden State an 11-point lead after one.
Bub Carrington became the second Wizard to pick up a tech in the first half, as he argued a foul called on an attempted steal. Washington's bench unit was overmatched in its first half minutes, helping the Warriors expand their lead. Washington's starters returned and sparked a 10-2 run, prompting a Golden State timeout.

The Wizards started to creep back midway through the fourth. Tristan Vukcevic knocked down a pair of triples, and another from Coulibaly got the Wizards within six.
The Wizards kept battling, but Kristaps Porzingis came up with timely baskets to put the game away. He finished with a game-high 30 points.
Washington, losers of 12 straight, are back in action tomorrow against the Detroit Pistons.
