Alex Sarr looked solid out of the gate following his ejection on Wednesday. His midrange jumper got going early.
Sarr got it going on defense. He notched his 70th block of the year, making him the fourth player to reach 70 in the league this season. He leads the league in blocks per game among qualified players.
Sacramento jumped ahead by double digits with a massive run. Washington didn’t score in the last four minutes of the quarter, and Sacramento closed the quarter on a 19-0 run. The game was tied before the run.

Sarr's second half was quiet despite his explosive first. He only shot the ball twice in the second half and finished with 19 points and four rebounds.
Kyshawn George and DeMar DeRozan scrapped with one another under the Kings’ basket early in the third. George took offense to a late shove after catching a few elbows.
The Kings kept the Wizards at arms-length away for the first half of the third quarter. They closed the third quarter on an 11-2 run to carry a 17-point cushion into the final quarter.
