The Washington Wizards will host several prospects for pre-draft workouts today, including one who played with a current Wizard.

Days after bringing in several prospects for workouts, the Washington Wizards are expected to host their second round of pre-draft workouts, starting with one who previously played with one of the newest Wizards.

Tennessee guard Ja’Kobi Gillespie

After a breakout sophomore season at Belmont, Gillespie made the most as a high major player first at Maryland then Tennessee. Averaging double figures scoring in each of his last three seasons, Gillespie proved himself as an inside-out scorer capable playing either guard spot with a profile of becoming a dynamic scoring point guard. A first team All-SEC selection as a senior and third team All-Big Ten selection at Maryland the year prior where he played with Julian Reese, Gillespie lit up the combine after scoring 24 points in the first half of his scrimmage.

A four-year rotational player first at Kentucky then at Kansas State and Virginia, Onyenso has made his mark on the defensive end where he ended his college career as an ACC All-Defensive Team selection. He's averaged at least 2.8 blocks in two seasons. He's recorded 20 games with multiple blocks while his 2.6 blocks per game during the regular season led the ACC and ranked sixth nationally.

Tennessee center Felix Okpara

Another former Vol, Okpara is another center prospect who ended his college career named to his conference's All Defensive team in 2026 after averaging 1.4 blocks per game, including multiple blocks in 12 different games and at least three in six games. His 105 blocks over his final two seasons is enough to rank 20th in program history, while the Ohio State transfer also ranked in the 98th percentile in rim efficiency defense.

SMU guard Jaron Pierre Jr.

At Jacksonville State, Pierre was named the C-USA Player of the Year in 2024-25 after averaging 21.6 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game, leading his team to the tournament championship game and its first NIT appearance in program history. He then spent his final season at SMU where he started in all but two games while averaging 17.6 points and 4.9 rebounds, building on his pedigree as an efficient scoring guard.

Georgia Tech forward Kowacie Reeves Jr.

After transferring from Florida ahead of his junior year, Reeves ended college with a career season after notching highs in points (15.1), steals (0.9), field goal shooting (45.6%) and three-point shooting (38.7) to showcase himself as an inside-out scorer. He received a medical waiver after being limited to six games in 2024-25 due to a foot injury.

Virginia guard Dallin Hall

A BYU transfer, Hall led Virginia with 4.4 assists while he averaged 5.9 points in 36 games. He registered his first career double-double with 12 points and season-high 10 assists at Georgia Tech. Hall led the ACC with a 3.3 assist-to-turnover ratio and ranked 11th in assists.
