The first chance for Washington Wizards fans to see top overall pick AJ Dybantsa isn't much further away.

The Washington Wizards have officially wrapped up introducing its pair of selections from the 2026 NBA Draft, and now, it won't be much longer until fans will get a chance to watch them in action.

The Wizards are set to open Summer League on Thursday, July 9 against the Utah Jazz in a matchup featuring the top two picks in AJ Dybantsa and Darryn Peterson. It marks the first unofficial matchup between the pair of top prospects with ESPN joining Monumental Sports Network with the coverage. Chris Miller, Drew Gooden and Chase Hughes will broadcast game two and three live from Las Vegas with Jason Smith, Wes Hall, Tony Massenburg and Glenn Connor in the studio for pre and postgame shows.

ESPN will also pick up the fourth and final game currently set on the schedule with Dybantsa and the Wizards set to take on former Illinois point guard Keaton Wagler, who went fifth overall to the Los Angeles Clippers. Yet the Wizards' other two set games will also feature matchups against former top prospects with former Arkansas guard Darius Acuff, who went seventh overall to Sacramento, leading the Kings into game two. Former North Carolina forward Caleb Wilson, the fourth overall pick, will also get a chance to lead the Chicago Bulls against Washington just two days later.

The fifth and final game is to be determined following the four already announced games with the date set for either July 17, 18 or 19. After each team plays four games, the top four teams will advance to the playoffs and participate in the semifinals on Saturday, July 18 (6:30 PM ET and 8:30 PM ET on Prime).  The two winning teams from the semifinal games will meet in the championship game on Sunday, July 19, at 9 PM ET on ESPN.

While Jamir Watkins could be among the returning players to suit back up in Summer League as Dybantsa and Felix Okpara make their unofficial debut, the Wizards have already added two more to the roster with reports that the organization has signed former Auburn forward Keyshawn Murphy to an Exhibit 10 deal, while North Carolina guard Seth Trimble and Cal forward John Camden will also reportedly join the roster.

The organization has yet to announce the full roster or coaching staff for next month's round of offsesason basketball.
