The Alabama Crimson Tide could have a major sleeper wide receiver on board heading into 2026.
The Alabama Crimson Tide are certainly known for producing terrific wide receivers, and their current roster is no exception.
Ryan Coleman-Williams and Lotzeir Brooks comprise the top two receivers for Alabama entering 2026, and both players are electrifying. Noah Rogers should be interesting when he gets healthy, and 6-foot-4 freshman Cederian Morgan is teeming with potential.
But the Crimson Tide quietly added another wide out this offseason that no one seems to be discussing: Tyler Henderson.
Most fans outside of Tuscaloosa have probably neve heard of Henderson. Heck, perhaps even some Alabama fans aren't sure of who he is.
But the 6-foot-1 junior transferred over from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College over the winter and is coming off of a 2025 campaign in which he hauled in 67 receptions for 1,202 yards and 12 touchdowns.
It was JUCO ball, yes, but those numbers are impressive no matter how you slice it, and Henderson already has Coleman-Williams' attention.

"I've got to go Tyler Henderson," Coleman-Williams said during SEC media days when asked to identify a sleeper in the receiving corps. "Triple Crown out of JUCO. Super excited for him. He's put on some weight. I'm just super excited for what he's able to showcase this fall."
Henderson is listed at 173 pounds, so perhaps he has bulked up a bit and will be a bit heavier by the time the season starts.
Of course, whether or not the Vicksburg, Ms. native is actually able to get any real playing time during his first year with the Crimson Tide remains to be seen.
Alabama's wide receiver depth chart is pretty crowded. I already mentioned Coleman-Williams, Brooks, Rogers and Morgan. The Tide also have Derek Meadows and Rico Scott in the mix, as well.
You would figure Kalen DeBoer would want to prioritize those six ahead of Henderson, barring a dramatic turn of events in fall camp.
But the fact that Coleman-Williams already has Henderson on his radar is significant, especially considering that Henderson clearly has an intriguing track record.
We'll see if Henderson is able to work his way on to the field this coming season.
