The Alabama Crimson Tide will have many players going into the NFL, like every year. One player who could go in the first round of the draft is offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor.
In Field Yates' latest mock draft for ESPN, Proctor went with the 27th overall pick to the Cleveland Browns.
The Browns need to improve their offensive line, and Proctor could be a core piece for them. He is powerful in the run game and has improved as a pass protector over his three years starting at left tackle.
Cleveland has allowed the eighth most sacks in the NFL at 40 this season, which hasn't helped either of their rookie quarterbacks, Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders.
While Proctor may struggle against elite pass rushers early in his NFL career, he has the talent to develop and become a great tackle.
The Browns' offense needs a ton of work, as they will be looking to add weapons and offensive linemen in the draft.
They have the highest pressure rate allowed in the league at 43.8 percent. That makes the offensive line one of the biggest needs for the Browns to address this offseason.
One player won't fix all of Cleveland's problems, but Proctor, who was named a first-team All-American, is one of the best offensive linemen in the draft and could help protect Sanders or any quarterback the Browns put under center.
Proctor allowed nine sacks in his freshman season, but has improved since, allowing just four sacks over the past two seasons.
Proctor will look to raise his draft stock during Alabama's run in the College Football Playoff. The Crimson Tide takes on the Oklahoma Sooners on Friday. This is a rematch from a game in November where Oklahoma came out on top 23-21.
Alabama allowed four sacks in their first matchup, making Proctor and the offensive line's performance crucial in the rematch.
If the 20-year-old is able to have a great playoff run with Alabama, he could raise his draft stock more and go earlier in the first round as one of the best offensive linemen in the class.
