This former Alabama Crimson Tide star has a make-or-break NFL season ahead of him.
During his time with the Alabama Crimson Tide, Jerry Jeudy was one of the best wide receivers in the country. He arrived at Alabama in 2017, won a national championship during his debut campaign and then put together back-to-back tremendous showings in 2018 and 2019.
Jeudy was even named an All-American in his sophomore year after hauling in 68 receptions for 1,315 yards and 14 touchdowns, and he posted over 1,000 yards once again during his final season in Tuscaloosa.
The Denver Broncos selected him with the 15th overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft as a result, but needless to say, Jeudy's stint with the Broncos did not go according to plan.
The former Alabama standout was never able to find his footing in Denver, which led to the Broncos trading him to the Cleveland Browns following 2023.
Jeudy then proceeded to enjoy what appeared to be a breakout season with the Browns in 2024, catching 90 passes for 1,229 yards and four scores en route to a Pro Bowl appearance. Then, he fell flat by snaring 50 balls for 602 yards and a couple of touchdowns last season and looked disengaged throughout the campaign.
Sure, Jeudy did not exactly have an enviable quarterback situation in 2025, but it's not like he had Tom Brady throwing him the football the year prior, either.

He has two years remaining on the three-year, $52 million extension he signed with the Browns upon being acquired, but there is an out in his deal after 2026.
Should Jeudy come up short again this coming fall, you can bet Cleveland will be looking to dump him next offseason ... and there not be many teams scrambling to scoop him up.
The Deerfield Beach, Fl. native exhibited clear potential in 2024 and showed why so many people believed in him coming out of 'Bama. But he has now been in the NFL for six years and has really only had one standout season.
Was 2024 nothing more than a fluke for Jeudy? Or was it a sign that the right situation can bring the best out of him?
Once again, the Browns don't have great circumstances under center going into 2026. Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders are battling it out for the starting role, which doesn't exactly inspire a ton of confidence.
But that also doesn't mean Jeudy has to lay another egg.
Remember: he had names like Watson, Jameis Winston, Dorian Thompson-Robinson and Bailey Zappe throwing him the football in 2024. That didn't stop him from posting a Pro Bowl campaign.
This could ultimately serve as a make-or-break season for Jeudy, who has generally looked nothing like the dominant playmaker we saw at Alabama thus far in his professional tenure.
