It goes without saying that the Auburn Tigers have their work cut out for them on Saturday, as they host the No. 10 Georgia Bulldogs at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

After starting 3-0 out of the gate, Auburn has dropped its first two contests of SEC play, both road matchups against top 15 opponents.

Despite this, the Tigers are coming into the Georgia game confident, particularly on the defensive side of the ball.

"Like no other," said Keyron Crawford. "Our preparation is the most important thing we do. We just have that preparation."

Auburn had a much-needed reset prior to this matchup, coming into it after a bye week. This extra time to prepare could be the spark the Tigers need to pull of the upset and put the season back on track.

"Just preparation and building our mental aspect of the game and just growing, just being more physical," Crawford said. "Just knowing how much better we can be throughout the season."

Crawford and the rest of the Tigers' defense have been taking defensive coordinator DJ Durkin's message to heart this week, doing everything possible to gain familiarity their opponent.

J"ust knowing our opponent even better," Crawford said. "The extra film work and the little things we can do to go out and be successful and play even faster. That’s what we preached on all week. We’re just going to go out and show it."

Auburn knows it has a lot on its plate in this matchup, but it's confident it has done everything in its power to give itself a chance to succeed.

"They are a pretty good team," Crawford said. "We’re just going to go out and play our ball. We’re just going to line up, play big boy ball and dominate."

Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. CT and ESPN will carry the television broadcast.
