Auburn will attempt to get one step closer to a bowl game by beating Mercer. Here is everything you need to know.

Coming off bye week following their 45-38 road loss to the Vanderbilt Commodores that dropped their record to 4-6 on the season, the Auburn Tigers will look to fight their way back into the win column by picking up a home win over the Mercer Bears on Saturday afternoon.

Mercer is 9-1 on the season and coming into this contest after beating Tennessee-Chatanooga 63-17 at home last week.

The Tigers will be looking to improve to 5-6 in the first home game under interim head coach DJ Durkin and keep their hopes of making a bowl game and having a winning season alive.

This will be the 14th-ever meeting between Auburn and Mercer. The Tigers currently have a 13-0 lead in the series all time, and have eight victories over the Bears to their name. Auburn last faced Mercer to open the 2022 season, picking up a 42-16 victory.
