

After taking care of business against the Oregon Ducks on Monday night, the No. 21 Auburn Tigers were no match for the No. 7 Michigan Wolverines on Tuesday night in their second game of the Players Era Festival.
Michigan (6-0) picked up a 102-72 win over Auburn (5-2), handing them one of their worst losses in recent memory.
Tahaad Pettiford hit two free-throws 18 seconds into the game to give Auburn a 2-0 lead. This ended up beng its largets lead of the game.
Michigan then went on a 11-0 run, taking complete control of the dirver's seat and never letting Auburn back into the contest.
The Wolverines went on multiple other runs throughout the first half, including an eight, an 11 and a 12-point burst. This resulted in a 59-31 lead for them heading into the locker room at half time.
Michigan contined to pour it on once the second half got underway. It led by as many as 35 points.
A significant factor in Michigan's dominance over the Tigers was its ability to shoot. It shot 35-of-68, 51.5%, from the field, 14-of-35, 40%, from 3-point range and 18-of-22, 81.8%, from the free-throw line.
Conversely, Auburn shot 22-of-62, 35.5%, from the field, 10-of-24, 41.7%, from 3-point range and 18-of-33, 54.5%, from the free-throw line.
Despite Auburn's struggles to compete with Michigan, it did have three players finish the game in double figures. Pettiford led the way with 16, Keyshawn Hall and KeShawn Murphy ended the night with 15 and 12 points, respectively.
Elyjah Freeman led the Tigers in rebounds with six, Pettiford, Murphy and Freeman each finished the game with one assist, accounting for all three of the team's tallies in that category.
Auburn will have one more game in the Player's Era Festival. The date and time as well as the opponent they will take on has not been announced at this time.
