Auburn's Top-10 recruiting class could take another major leap over the next week. The Tigers are finalists for four-star safety Junior Tu'upo, four-star athlete Tae Walden Jr., and five-star corner Joshua Dobson, giving Alex Golesh multiple chances to add elite talent.

The Auburn Tigers 2027 recruiting class has multiple opportunities over the next week to add some big names. Over the next 7 days, 3 premier recruits will announce their commitments, with the Tigers among their final teams. 

On Friday, 4-Star safety Junior Tu’upo is the first to make his decision, and Auburn is in the mix. Tu’upo is 6-3, 192, and is from Thompson High School in Alabaster, Alabama. He is considered the 12th best player in the state and 19th best safety in the country. 

He has brought his decision down to 5 teams, which include Indiana, Texas, Alabama, Oregon, and Auburn. You can watch his commitment live on the Rivals YouTube Channel at 3 PM CT. 

Rivals will also be hosting their Summer Signing Day on July 1st, and 4-Star Athlete Tae Walden Jr. will also choose between 5 teams. Ranked the 67th-best player in the country, Walden is a talented playmaker who was stellar on both sides of the football during his junior season last year. While at Collierville High School (Tennessee), Walden had almost 1000 yards receiving, 10 touchdowns, as well as 5 interceptions defensively.

Auburn was listed as one of his finalists, along with LSU, Georgia, Oregon, and Ole Miss. 

On the same day, 5-Star cornerback Joshua Dobson will also decide if Auburn is the right choice for him. The Cornelius, North Carolina, Defender is a consensus 5-Star across all industry rankings and the best player in his state. 

At 6-1, 185, Dobson holds a wingspan of over 6-5. His explosiveness and speed are two of his most impressive traits, as he was clocked at 10.78 in the 100m during his sophomore season. Considered the 11th best player inside the 2027 class according to Rivals, will decide between Texas A&M, Michigan, South Carolina, and the Tigers.

Auburn is already seen as the 8th best recruiting class for the 2027 cycle, adding one or more of these top ‘blue-chip’ players could have the Tigers flirting with the Top 5 before the summer comes to a close.
