Auburn is looking to keep its March Madness hopes alive by beating Mississippi State in the first round of the SEC Tournament. Here is everything you need to know about the game.

Coming off a 96-84 road loss against the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday night that dropped their record to 16-15 on the season and 7-11 in SEC play, the Auburn Tigers will look to add another tally to the win column and keep their NCAA Tournament hopes alive by picking up a victory over the Mississippi State Bulldogs in the first round of the SEC Tournament in Nashville on Wednesday afternoon.

Mississippi State took on the Georgia Bulldogs at home on Saturday to close out the regular season and lost 102-96.

The Tigers will be looking to avenge their loss to the Bulldogs from earlier this season.

This will be the 157th time Auburn has come across Mississippi State on the hardwood. The Tigers own an 84-72 advantage in the series. Auburn fell 91-85 when the teams met in Starkville on Feb. 18.
