October is here, and in a month full of tricks and treats, we are in for one treat of a college football slate this weekend. From primetime quarterback showdowns to defensive slugfests, there is so much up for grabs in week 5 across the SEC.
Each week, the Auburn Roundtable team will be picking the SEC games and seeing if they can have the best record by the end of the year!

CHRISTIAN RAUH: We have seen two different Alabama's this season, one against Florida State and one against South Carolina. Which one will we get in Starkville? I think the Kamario Taylor magic continues. Mississippi State 35, Alabama 31.
TREY LEE: Biggest game of the year so far for both teams. QB play will be on display here, but I think Alabama's defense gets it done late.

CHRISTIAN: I think Jared Curtis will eventually be seen as one of the better quarterbacks in the country, but he's not ready for Georgia yet. Bulldogs win 41-10.
TREY: Georgia has yet to play a team with much of a pulse. Bulldogs continue to cruise.

CHRISTIAN: I don't think many are giving Missouri a chance here, although the game's at home. A lot of people really like Florida, what they've seen so far this season. Gators 31, Mizzou 24.
TREY: Don't count the Tigers out of this one - I was super impressed with Austin Simmons and the run game behind Jamal Roberts on the road in a raucous environment in Starkville. I think Florida wins, but it is a fight to the finish.

CHRISTIAN: This is going to be a very tough game, but I like the direction the defense is going in following the Vanderbilt game, and I think they can complete the upset. Give me Auburn 24, Tennessee 21.
TREY: Both teams are going to run the heck out of the ball with the wet weather. Auburn finds a way to stop DeShaun Bishop and the Tigers begin a difficult October with a W.

Kentucky at South Carolina

CHRISTIAN: If South Carolina loses this game, Shane Beamer might want to pack his bags. Gamecocks 31, Kentucky 27.
TREY: The seat keeps getting hotter and hotter for Shane Beamer, and the writing is already on the wall.

Arkansas at Texas A&M

CHRISTIAN: The Aggies need a huge bounce-back after the past couple weeks and basically being eliminated from the college football playoffs. I think they do so here: 38-14.
TREY: The only way Arkansas wins this week is if the refs cannot see the Aggies in their camo uniforms this week.

CHRISTIAN: This will be a blowout, without question. LSU 58-3.
TREY: The real question here is who will Will Wade cheer for in this one?
