Auburn baseball continues to rise as Chase Fralick and Jackson Sanders earn Team USA honors ahead of the 2026 MLB Draft. We break down Auburn's top MLB Draft prospects, including Chris Rembert, Eric Guevara, Alex Petrovic, and Brandon McCraine.

The Auburn Tigers continue to build momentum on the baseball diamond.

After a strong 2026 season, reaching Super Regionals for the second straight year, it's clear that Butch Thompson has this program in a healthy spot. Earlier this week, Auburn received another major sign of national respect when Chase Fralick and Jackson Sanders earned spots on the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team.

That is not a small accomplishment.

Auburn is one of just six schools with multiple players on the 28-man roster, joining Florida, Mississippi State, Oregon, Texas and UCLA. Only another indicator of where the Tigers currently stand as a program.

Fralick has become one of the most important pieces of Auburn's future behind the plate, while Sanders gives the Tigers another high-end arm with a chance to continue developing into one of the better pitchers in the SEC. Both players getting this opportunity is not only a win for them individually, but also another strong reflection of how Auburn is being viewed nationally. It is likely that Fralick will actually start behind the plate for the team. More great news for him as a professional prospect, as catchers on Team USA have a long line of success at the next level.

In other baseball news, the MLB Draft is quickly approaching, and Auburn has several names that could hear their name called.

Chris Rembert is the biggest name to watch. Although his 2026 season may not have fully reached the offensive expectations some had for him, he is still viewed as one of the better second base prospects in the draft. Baseball evaluations are not always just about production. They are also about traits, projectability, and long-term value, which is why Rembert still has a very real chance to be selected high enough to begin his professional career.

Eric Guevara is another Auburn player who should receive plenty of attention. His defensive ability gives him a strong case to be drafted, especially with some viewing him as one of the better defensive third base options available. Even if his bat is not the main selling point, his glove is good enough to make teams interested.

Alex Petrovic and Brandon McCraine are also names to monitor as they have been rumored to be potential high enough picks to where they may decide to hit the minor leagues instead of returning to The Plains.
