This week's Auburn Roundtable tackles Karlos May's recruitment, the upcoming MLB Draft's impact on Butch Thompson's roster, and Steven Pearl's rebuilt basketball team. Here's what our staff expects for Auburn football, baseball, and men's basketball.

The Auburn Tigers have had a busy summer.

Alex Golesh and the football program, as well as Steven Pearl and the Men's Basketball team, are rebuilding their rosters in hopes of becoming more competitive in the SEC this year. And the MLB Draft is right around the corner. Butch Thompson will find out who stays and who goes for his upcoming squad.

On this week's Auburn Roundtable, the staff answered a mixed bag of questions on some of the biggest issues surrounding the three sports.

We are one week away from Karlos May's decision. Is there a chance he chooses the Tigers?

Zac Blackerby: It's seeming less and less likely. We've seen this staff make a push for elite guys in the final days, but this one seems different. My guess right now is he goes elsewhere

Christian Rauh: I'm with Zac on this one. I don't think we hear Auburn's hat chosen next week for Karlos May, but I wouldn't rule him out entirely. He seems like a recruit that could potentially be swayed later on during the season, and possibly flipped before December rolls around.

How will the upcoming MLB Draft shake out for the Auburn Tigers? Will Butch Thompson be surprised by certain players leaving to head to the minors?

ZB: I think Auburn will be well represented in the MLB Draft. Petrovic is the name I'm watching the most.

CR: I think Chris Rembert and Eric Guevara are locks to be drafted early from Auburn's current roster. Alex Petrovic is definitely fascinating, as he might be picked just high enough that he has to make a serious decision about whether college baseball is better for his development and pocketbook. There are also a few signees as well that could go early that could mess with Thompson's recruiting class.

Now that we have got the official announcement, what are your initial thoughts on the new Men's Basketball roster?

ZB: Steven Pearl has added tremendous length. Auburn has gotten significantly larger at the three through the five as well as adding quality depth at guard. Totally different outlook.

CR: Pearl did exactly what was needed of him this offseason. He built around his two mainstays, Taahad Pettiford and Kevin Overton. He certainly raised the floor of this roster from a talent standpoint and especially on the positional depth side of things. Very impressed.
