From custom tuxedo fittings for a star-studded New York wedding to narrating a historic patriotic tribute in Utah, the Chiefs' coach tackles a whirlwind weekend of celebration.

Andy Reid will have an interesting weekend ahead of him.

The Kansas City Chiefs head coach and famed BYU alum will be a guest at the star-studded wedding for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift in New York City on Friday. While some have speculated about the official guest for the event at Madison Square Garden, Reid shopped for a custom-made tuxedo from Peters Clothiers in Kansas City.

The shop revealed Reid would be headed to the Big Apple to support his star player and his soon-to-be wife. "The tailor gave a glimpse of Reid, as well as Chiefs vice president of sports medicine and performance Rick Burkholder and Chiefs general manager Brett Veach, at a tuxedo fitting ahead of Kelce's wedding to Taylor Swift," according to People.

"A photo of Reid trying on his black tux as owner Spiro Arvanitakis made adjustments, and a photo of Burkholder donning his suit as Veach stood near him by a garment rack, were posted on Instagram on June 12 alongside the caption, "KC CHIEFS Andy Reid, Brett Veach and Rick Burkholder getting ready for the Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift Wedding! Custom made by PETERS CLOTHIERS."

Reid will be in New York for a short amount of time. He'll be on a plane headed to Salt Lake City for another rare event. On Sunday, The Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra will celebrate America 250 with two special performances of “Music & the Spoken Word.”

Reid will join the world-famous Choir as guest narrator for two performances at 11:30 a.m. ET and 1 p.m. ET. The three-time Super Bowl champion and one of the most respected coaches in NFL history, will "reflect on the principles of unity, perseverance and faith that have shaped the American story," according to a press release by the LDS Church.

“I spent more than a decade just down the road from Independence Hall [in Philadelphia], where our Founding Fathers put pen to paper on the Declaration of\ Independence,” said Reid in a statement.

“They were the ultimate team — facing adversity, staying the course and building something that has endured for 250 years. I’m honored to join The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square to celebrate the birth of our nation in a place that reflects the same spirit of unity and faith.” The event will be streamed on the Choir’s YouTube channel.

Reid started his career as a graduate assistant at BYU under head coach LaVell Edwards in 1982. He's the NFL’s active leader with 279 career regular-season wins, and is No. 4 in all-time wins in the NFL.
