This new Clemson Tigers quarterback has opened up on being compared to Tampa Bay Buccaneers star Baker Mayfield.

The Clemson Tigers landed a pair of quarterbacks on early national signing day, bagging both Tait Reynolds and Brock Bradley.

Dabo Swinney spoke highly of both young signal-callers, but when it came to Bradley, Swinney compared him to one of the elite quarterbacks in the NFL: Tampa Bay Buccaneers star Baker Mayfield.

Bradley caught wind of that recently, and while speaking to Tiger Net, he revealed his thoughts on Swinney's comparison.

"It means a lot," Bradley said. "I'm just super thankful for his belief in me ... I'm just super excited to finally get there and, you know, just grow as a player and a person."

A three-star prospect, Bradley hails from Birmingham, Al. and is the 109th-ranked quarterback in the class of 2026. He is also the 83rd-ranked player in the state of Alabama.

Obviously, those aren't eye-popping numbers, but clearly, Swinney saw something in Bradley and promised him the opportunity to compete.

"I told him when I committed that all I needed was opportunity and a chance to compete, and when he told me that was the opportunity that was presented to me, I wanted to come," Bradley added.

Bradley will be joining a rather crowded quarterback field heading into next season. Holdovers Christopher Vizzina and Chris Denson will be vying for the starting job, and Reynolds will be in the mix, as well. And that's not even considering the possibility that Swinney would add another signal-caller via the transfer portal.

Cade Klubnik has been Clemson's starting quarterback the past three seasons, but he is now out of eligibility and will be heading into the NFL Draft.

There is a whole lot of uncertainty surrounding the Tigers because of their quarterback situation, not to mention that a handful of other key players are bolting for the pros, as well.

Clemson went just 7-6 this season, marking its worst finish since going 6-7 back in 2010, which was Swinney's second year with the program.

The Tigers entered 2025 with national title expectations, but obviously, they fell flat.

Clemson is hoping for a far different result next fall. Whether or not Bradley can be a part of it remains to be seen.
